Long Description:
Berkeley Park is in west Denver near I-70 and Sheridan. This is an older community of smaller houses with many families with children or 'starter' homes for new couples or singles.

The dog area is on the northwest side of the park. Dogs are welcome anywhere in the park, but this is the only fenced-in off-leash area. It has the traditional double-gate design to prevent 'escapes' with high fences to control jumping. It is near a busy street (Sheridan) so 'escapes' could quickly become fatal. The area is well used and quite clean. (visit link) for more information about Denver's Dog Parks.

The nearby Berkeley Park Recreation Center has rest room facilities when the building is open. If the building is closed, there are no people rest room facilities.

Visit Instructions:
To log this waymark, you must be able to prove to the waymark owner that you were at the park in question. This probably means a photo. The photo must be identifiably at that park, so having your GPS in the photo might not be a bad idea (alternatively you may include a recognizable landmark)
If you have a dog, photos of your dog having a good time would also be appreciated.
