Berkeley Park is in west Denver near I-70 and Sheridan. This is an older community of smaller houses with many families with children or 'starter' homes for new couples or singles.
The dog area is on the northwest side of the park. Dogs are welcome anywhere in the park, but this is the only fenced-in off-leash area. It has the traditional double-gate design to prevent 'escapes' with high fences to control jumping. It is near a busy street (Sheridan) so 'escapes' could quickly become fatal. The area is well used and quite clean. (

The nearby Berkeley Park Recreation Center has rest room facilities when the building is open. If the building is closed, there are no people rest room facilities.
