There is not any information to be found about this house but it appears that it was abandoned/left many years ago. The property was probably purchased by the Province of Ontario when Highway 6 was put through here many years ago. Or the property was purchased by, or left to, the Bruce Trail Association, which also goes through this property.
There are walls still standing but with no floor, a child's tricycle is in one of the rooms, a hydro pole still stands beside a wall with the insulators, in the one corner is a rectangular hole in the "floor" which may have been a cistern for collecting water. It is obvious, when investigating the walls, that a second floor existed at one time.
