CBS 4 has been the CBS affiliate since 1995. The station began in 1953 and was an NBC affiliate until 1994. The entire saga may be found (

Channel 4 carries the traditional CBS line-up of news and entertainment along with local newscasts and public service (such as political debates). As with all other large affiliates, CBS4 is involved in many charity and fundraising efforts in the state.
