Built in 1835 the Orangery was where the De Grey family grew oranges. The De Grey family owned the Wrest Park estate from the 13th century to 1917.
The ghost signs are above the doors underneath the Orangery and appear in faint, white paint. They are visible when walking from the Bath House to the Orangery. We presume this is where an onion store once was located.
