In Framingham, near the Natick line and along Route 9 in the "Golden Triangle" retail district, is Fun and Games, which is a video arcade, laser tag, and birthday party event location all in one. The web site states that they want to become "the next generation in family entertainment," and they have finished construction for new birthday party rooms.
Fun and Games actually started in 1964. When video arcades were really popular, they had just about every current machine out there at the time: centipede, asteroids, pacman, etc. Since then, they had to evolve with the changing needs. I'm not sure who bought who, but they also own the Village Green miniature golf place in East Natick, also on Route 9, and have a few arcade games there, including an air hockey table.
The description on their web site states that they have many of the classic games that the 'adults' (we are all a kid at heart, right?) would remember, and there is a picture of Ms. Pacman on the page.
Hours of operation shown are generally right for when school is out (summers and holidays). On Mondays and Tuesdays when school is in session, they are closed, and the weekend hours are for Friday and Saturday.
