This memorial is prominently displayed outside the Cass County Courthouse and administrative building. On the primary wall, there are attachments with the crests of the four main military branches, Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marines. The Coast Guard Crest is also on the wall. The Coast Guard falls under the Department of Defense during a time of war.

Description of Memorial: The memorial is on the corner of the Cass County Courthouse lot. It made out of a brick background that has a large plaque with the names of those that paid the ultimate sacrifice for freedom. There are pavers with names of veterans (and which war they served in) laid out in front of the memorial in a triangle.
