A highlight of the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden is the whimsical fountain-sculpture, Spoonbridge and Cherry. A large spoon over an L-shaped pond holds an equally large cherry in the spoon. The stem of the cherry is an erratically spritzing fountain, placing a mist on those standing downwind. A plaque near the sculpture reads:
