Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area is open during the summer months for disc golf, because in the winter, is is a fully operating ski slopes with lifts.
Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area in Bloomington, Minnesota is managed by the Three Rivers Park District. It is one of three parks that they operate that has an 18 hole Disc Golf Course.
This course has concrete tee pads, circular "greens" with bark chips, and Mach3 baskets. The whole course is about 6240 feet long. The course has fairways, up, down and across the ski slopes. There are great views of the Twin Cities from the upper areas. Most fairways are smooth flat grassy hillsides with a few at the perimeter being in wooded areas. Hole 18 is the signature hole, a 705 foot drive all downhill and aceable.
Cost to play is $3 per round or $5 per day.
