The description in the documented history for this benchmark is correct, but the given coordinates are 0.3 miles off.
Located in the NE corner of the intersection of Knox and Cherry streets, in the SW corner of the Whiteside County Courthouse lawn. Mark is 7 feet east of a concrete retaining wall and about five feet south-southwest of the more westerly of two posts supporting a sign for the Whiteside County Courthouse.
Condition: Mark found in good condition
