Brenham Meteorite
Pallasites are very rare, encompassing less than one-percent of all meteorites. They are composed of a nickel-iron matrix with gold to green embed olivine/ peridot crystals. Pallasites are conjectured to represent the boundry between the core ad the mantle of a large asteriod or small plantesimal that broke apart long before the meteriod's orbit intersected with the Earth's orbit.
