The Windmill Country Market is a gem tucked away amongst the rolling hills and picturesque horse farms of Brant County. It is located in the peaceful little village of Mt. Pleasant, and quickly becomes a favourite stop for many.

This family run business, located on the north west corner of Burch and Mount Pleasant Road is the result of a some very careful and creative planning by Henry Heikoop Sr.
When Henry became aware of this newly zoned commercial land, his vision for a family run business took off. With the property purchased, next came the planning, building, etc., and three years later, on May 4, 2005, the Windmill Country Market opened for its first day of business.
Today, many visitors make note of The Windmill, and return often to enjoy the variety of products sold here. Visitors can enjoy a homecooked meal in the very pleasant atmosphere of the family restaurant, and then they may choose to visit the deli, bakery, gift shop, or even pick up a few grocery items on their way home.
All in all it is a very enjoyable experience, one of which our family has taken advantage of on many occasions.
