There are two playground sets and a hanging-swinging apparatus. The equipment is all contained in a rectangular area, nicely mulched with railroad tie borders. Both sets are of the commercial variety, The first swing set is made of wood with some metal pieces and the other is the plastic, green type so prevalent in our parks today. Both offers slides, crawling, climbing, jumping and swinging.

The dirt parking is huge and next to the playground. Nearby is an observation platform for bird watching. There is an interpretive on migrating hawks and an orientation table. There is also a pavilion.
