Vampire A79-321 - Ashley Street, Braybrook - Static Aircraft Displays on Waymarking.com

The de Havilland Vampire was was a British Jet Engine fighter commissioned by the RAF during the Second World War.

Approx 3,300 were built, about a quarter of these by licence world wide.

The aircraft on display in Central West Shopping Centre is believed to have been manufactured in Zimbabwe and imported here in approx 1988.
