Frank Swanson of Littleton, Colorado was commissioned to create this work for Mesa College and the citizens of Colorado through the Art in
Public Places Law, administered by the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities, a state agency. It features two stone sculptures. If the two sides where pushed together the two identical pieces would form a perfect cube. (from Mesa State College Walking Tour.)
