This fantastic old tree stands along the banks of the Oatka Creek in LeRoy, NY. It is a Beech tree of the most beautiful order. Generations upon generations of children have enjoyed this tree because it is located in front of both the public library and the public school. A reliable source at the Jello Museum just down the street told me that years ago kids would collect the beech nut pods to make floral decorations.
