From Ridgeway, at the intersection of County Rd HYH and US Hwy 151, go 1.7 miles east on Hwy 151 to Pikes Peak Rd, then 4.7 miles north on Pikes Peak Rd to Mill Dam Rd, then 0.7 miles west on Mill Dam road to Mill Creek bridge. Mark is mounted in top of SW bridge abutment.

Hydes Mill is privately owned and closed to the public. There is a nice display of mill stones along the edge of the roadway. The dam was built in 1850.
