On east side of Fulton County Road 27 at Ohio-Michigan state line. Post is light gray granite, originally 69 inches long 12 inches square with the top 18 inches dressed to 8 by 10 inches, lettered on north side "MICHIGAN", on south side "OHIO", on east side "STATE LINE", and on west side "POST 20". Base of post embedded in concrete, top originally projected 18 inches above ground. The top portion of this post has been broken off at some point, with an aluminum 3.5" metal disc stating "MICH POST 20 OHIO" affixed to the top of the remainder. To Post 21, true bearing is N 88 30'35' E, at a distance of 5400.6 feet.

Nearest community is Fayette, Ohio, in Fulton County. To reach from the intersection of SR66 and US20 in Fayette, proceed west on US20 for 1.7 miles to State Route 127. Turn north on SR127 for 1.5 miles to County Road T. West on CR-T 1.0 mile to County Road 27, then north for 4040 feet to the state line and the mark on the right. Mark is 12 feet east of the road edge, at the edge of a cultivated field, and is witnessed with 2 round wood posts.
