Per the Renewing Franklin website (secondary link below), "Pendergrass Building - Now housing the Macon County Historical Museum, this former mercantile store remains much unchanged today. Built in 1904 it houses a tremendous collection of Macon County History.

An error in the NRHP database had me searching up and down the main street searching for "6 W. Main Street" instead of "36 West Main Street".
