Long Description:
Originally there was a single 80-acre lake but it has since been divided into 2 lake. The southern portion is now Kingfisher Lake, a stocked lake ideal for fishing. Only the northern shore of the northern portion is designated for swimming.
Birds Hill Provincial Park is only 12 km northeast of Winnipeg so this this beach can get very crowded even during the week.
