This small museum if operated by the Cumberland Historical Society and is located in Greenwich, NJ. On display are many artifacts from the 19th and 20th century maritime and fishing industries. Of particular note are those artifacts that pertain to the oyster fishing industry which was strong in this area in the mid to last 1800s, but fell off in the 20th century due to pollution and over fishing. Also on display are engines and parts from Hettinger, in Bridgeton, Cumberland County, which was once one of the nation's pre-eminent builders.
