The frieze show an Ox pulled cart. Around the cart are a mixture of peasants, Native Americans and missionaries. The small frieze is above the entrance to the mausoleum.
The mausoleum was built in 1938 by the WPA and the city of Santa Clara. The indoor mausoleum hoses the remains of some of Santa Clara's most prominent residents.
