A memorial to the late Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother who was baptised at All Saints Church and spent her childhood at the Bowes Lyon family home at nearby St Paul’s Walden Bury.
The memorial consists of a tall stone column with a plinth at the top. Atop the plinth is a stainless steel crown with a cross at its centre. The column stands on a broad circular base faced with inscribed tablets and flint. The tablets around the base refer to the four titles the Queen Mother had over her life. The inscriptions read
