Toucan Ridge (formerly known as the Tropical House) was built in 1968-69. Re-developed and re-named in 2011, Toucan Ridge is home to free-flying birds and other species from Central and South America

Jan 1 to Apr 17 Daily: 9 am - 4 pm
Apr 18 to Oct 13 Daily: 9 am – 5 pm
** Nov 11: 1 pm to 4 pm
** Dec 25: noon to 4 pm
Entrance gates close 1/2 hour prior to zoo closing
Zoo buildings close 15 minutes before zoo closing

Admission is for the Zoo (nothing extra for the Tropical House): (plus 5% GST)
