Located west of Mammoth Lakes, California, Devils Postpile preserves a basaltic column formation, plus a 101 foot waterfall, Rainbow Falls.
The visitors center is located at the end of the park road where the shuttle bus for the park turns around. You can get your passport stamped 24/7, (although the monument is closed in winter due to heavy snow) because the stamp box and ink pad are located on the window sill outside the visitors center, due to its extremely small size.
