Dedicated by the "Five-O-Sinks" The 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment Association, November 4, 2000, at Toccoa, Georgia.

2000 The 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment Association
The book "Band of Brothers" by Stephen E. Ambrose and the movie by the same name recounts the story of E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne. Lieutenant General Robert Frederick Sink took command of the 506 in July 1942 and made combat jump into Normandy and Holland ( Operation Market Garden) during WW II. He also severed during the Korean War.
