On east side of Williams County Road 13 at Ohio-Michigan state line. Post is light gray granite 69 inches long 12 inches square with the top 18 inches dressed to 8 by 10 inches. Lettered on north side "MICHIGAN", on south side "OHIO", on east side "STATE LINE", and on west side "POST 11". Base of post embedded in concrete, top projects 18 inches above ground. To Post 12, true bearing is N 88 27'45' E, at a distance of 5322.3 feet.

Nearest community is Pioneer, Ohio, in Williams County. To reach from the intersection of SR15 and First St in Pioneer, proceed north on State Route 15 approximately 1.0 mile. Turn west on County Road S and proceed 1.0 mile to County Road 13. Turn north and proceed approximately .5 miles to the state line and the mark on the right. Mark is 4 foot east of the road edge, about 2 feet below road surface, and is witnessed with an orange carsonite post.
