The plaque is located near the flag pole on the main entry road in the Little Rock National Cemetery. The cemetery has graves of veterans from the Civil War to most recent wars, however is now closed to new internments. The plaque is located outside of the round-about surrounding the flag pole. The plaque is inscribed:
