A recreation of the Woodstown fire Ring, now located on the property of the Society of friends, and adjacent to their Meeting House.

The inscription on the plaque reads:

"This fire ring marks the original center of the town and the site of the first known fire house, built by the firemen in the early 1800's to house their hand pumper "Old Discipline." The original fire ring hung at the corner of Auburn St. and N. Main St. in front of a blacksmith shop.

Pilesgrove-Woodstown Historical Society"

The original fire ring and blacksmith shop no longer exist. On that site now stands an interesting Tudor style home built in 1931.
