The fireworks display from Aquatic Park is at a prominent northern point on the bay in San Francisco. It is often watched by people from nearby tall apartment building. Some of the other great viewing points around the bay are at Fisherman's Wharf, Twin Peaks, the Marin Headlands, Treasure Island, the Marina Green and Crissy Field. It can also be seen from neighboring cross-bay cities at Oakland's Jack London Square and Berkeley's Marina.
Another popular way to view the fireworks is from a boat out on the bay such as the Red & White Fleet Tour, the USS Potomac Cruise, Commodore Yacht Cruise, Tiburon 4th of July Cruises, or Hornblower Cruises.
These pictures were taken from a cliff overlooking Aquatic Park. This site is in the back yard of the Fort Mason Officer's Club. The site is open to supporters of the Golden Gate Parks Conservancy. It includes a light dinner along with a live band.
Some years, fog rolls in through the Golden Gate to dim the view of the fireworks, but not this year!
