This Oklahoma border crossing sign appears to be very new. It is actually about 300 feet north of the actual border according to the maps.

This Oklahoma Border Crossing sign lets you know that you have just left Texas and have entered the south edge of the Oklahoma panhandle. It is located along Highway 287, on the east side as you are heading north. There is parking located about 150 north of the sign.
If you stay going north on Hwy 287 for another 42 miles you will hit the Oklahoma - Colorado Border Crossing.
There isn't much out here along this lonely stretch of Hwy 287 so this waymark gives you a reason to get out and stretch your legs.
It looks like the 4-H Club of Plainview have decided to keep the weeds pulled around this sign. (see Gallery Sign)
