Large owl sculpture spanning the rooftop of a very popular diner in Albuquerque

This extremely large owl sculpture sits across the roof of the popular dining establishment Owl Cafe. It is about 40 feet long, and takes up most of the rooftop from the side-to-side view of the front. The eyes are deep set and really stand out, and the ears are straight up. The owl is so large and a terra-cotta color that it naturally looks like part of the building. In fact, the bottom part of the sculpture hangs out a little bit over the roof of the cafe.
