"N.J. Pelletier's General Store"
"One of Springvale's longest surviving businesses. Purchased by Narcisse J. Pelletier in 1884, store was sold when he died in 1900. His widow and their son Georges, bought it back in 1904. It remained in family ownership for the next fifty years. This was the only building on Bridge Street to escape the Springvale fire of 1905."
Where the marker stands today is now a grassy street corner. No trace of the building is visible.
