This travel and tourist information center is located at Thompson Hill in Duluth MN. Located at mile marker 250 on I-35 just as you come into Duluth, this center has become a tourist destination of its own. The view coming into Duluth is jaw dropping and this center has a spectacular overlook. In addition to the overlook, there are restroom facilities, vending machines, pay phone, grassy rest areas for humans and their pets, historical markers and more.
The travel information center is fully staffed from 9 AM until 5:00 PM most days. Explore Minnesota Tourism staffs the center and live folks help with planning any and all of your travel needs, be it in Duluth or anywhere in the state of Minnesota. They have hundreds of brochures, maps, guides and more and the people are friendly and ready to help you with any questions you may have.
This area is a must see itself in addition to anything else you want to see in the area.
