This Wat is situated on a main road in the town of Saraburi, capital of the Saraburi province. The Wat itself is well designed and well maintained (as you would expect in the middle of the provincial capital), however, when I visited (which was a hot midday) I was the only person present on the Wat grounds. Also, there was no crematorium in the Wat, and there is a large, paved open area in front of the Wat. Thus, I suspect that this Wat is used for official ceremonies, and for admin (it has a large admin building), rather than the day to day duties of a 'working Wat'.

A note on the name. There was no English language sign on the Wat, and it is not listed in google! Therefore, I transliterated the Thai name, with the assistance of several locals. While it may not be formally correct, it does convey the sound of the Thai name.
