We are including this memorial garden here as mentioned on the memorial with a plinth is the Malay Peninsula during the Second World War. This Memorial reads as follows:

'This memorial plaque is dedicated with pride, respect and gratitude to the memory of those members of the British Colonial Commonwealth Armed Forces and civilians who in the line of duty and for their country made the supreme sacrifice.

Lest we Forget Andai nya kita terlupa'

On the memorial are crossed daggers known as Kris with a wavy blade. It is associated with jungle and guerrilla warfare. A large Kris within a Cruciform lies on the hillside in the grass nearby as part of this memorial garden. On this are the British and Malayan flags on a plaque.

The Cruciform monument was constructed by Tudorworth Properties Ltd in 2006. Also there are the crests of The National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association with the Malayan Volunteers Group.

The Kris Memorial Garden was dedicated on the 14th September 2003 with the surrounding grove of dedicated trees.

One of these trees is dedicated to the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Regiment who died in the service of their country. They were part of the 18th Division in the war in the Far East.
