Morton Lake Campground offers 24 sites, some of which are beside the lake. Reservations are accepted for 6 of the units. Some sites would not be suitable for units other than a tent, although most are fine for a smaller trailer or RV unit. The lake has a sandy beach at the picnic area which is popular in the summer for swimming, and it is also a great spot for canoeing or kayaking. It is advised to boil water for 2 minutes. This is a wilderness area, so be aware that wildlife such as bears may be encountered, although generally there will be a sign giving any recent sightings. There are pit toilets, not all of which are wheelchair accessible. Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed, and are not allowed on the beach area.
