Pershore Plum Festival is held every year for all of August. There are many attractions including a Family Race day, Plum Tours, Farmers Market, Plum Walks, Classic Car Show, Plum Tasting, Youth Field Events (including Climbing wall,Bell Boating, Archery etc) Steam Roller called 'Jessica', Abbey Ablaze (teddy bear races and open air church service), Two Plum Festival Geocaches (Discovery of the Pershore Plum & Pershore Plum Trail)and much much more
The Festival is a celebration of Plums as Pershore has had links with Plums and plum growing for hundreds of years with two plum varities comming from the town, The Pershore Egg Plum and the Pershore Purple Plum. This Festival is Run with and By both Wychavon District council and Pershore Town Council.
The festival is now very popular and also provides a park and ride facility

August Bank Holiday Monday the whole of Pershore is open including Farms Market 9:00 - 5:30
