Located about 8km walk from Wondaybyne Railway Station (which is not accessible by car), or 11km walk from Patonga. Follow the Great North Walk signs, but the last few hundred metres to the top is on a side-track which is not signposted just near a clearing / campsite. The track is quite steep in places.
You can also walk from Woy Woy, a distance of about 7km.
