The gray date stone is to the left of the entrance, two feet from the ground, just next to the first fire truck bay.
Many years ago, property was acquired east of the fire house (what is now the fire hall) for future expansion. A complete building renovation and expansion program was started in 1959 and completed in 1961 for a cost of $65,000.00 dollars.
