The Pima County Sports Hall of Fame was founded in April 1989. This organization was established to honor the many men and women who have brought distinction to and have had a positive impact on sports in Pima County. Honorees have participated in Pima County high schools, community college, university or professional athletics or have contributed significantly in a capacity such as coach, sports official, promotional, or other related roles.
