The memorial is a two piece marble and concrete monument. A white marble top is positioned on a concrete plinth (approximately 1 metre high by 1 metre wide by 1 metre deep). The memorial is about 2.2 metres in height. On three faces of the concrete plinth are marble memorial stones.
The lower southern face commemorates the Great War 1914 – 1919 (this entry) , the East and West faces commemorate World War II 1939 – 1945 (which see). The northern face is blank. The southern face of the upper marble monument commemorates the British Boer War (which see).
