Granite marker in honor of the Merchant Marines located in Canal Park, Duluth MN. Canal Park is a tourist must see, a pier allows visitors to observe, up close, ships arriving and departing the Port of Duluth. Also in the park is a boardwalk and bike trail along the lakeside of Lake Superior, the Lake Superior Maritime Marine Museum, benches, seagulls, vendors, restaurants, the aerial lift bridge and so much more.
