This funicular is the only one in the world that works on a curved and inclined structure. The two level glass funicular connects the ground to the Montreal Tower Observatory.

This funicular can accomodate 76 passengers at a time. During the high season it makes approximately 100 trips back and forth each day. The rail is 255 meters long. The cable is 600 meters long. The car travels 2 meters per second.
