Long Description:This display can only be seen when arriving, or leaving Air Force
football games. This is a tribute to the "World's foremost airial
demonstration team- The Thunderbirds."
The T-38 Talon was designed in the mid 1950's, and flew for the
first time on March 10, 1959. It was used as a training plane
because the Air Force had no need for a small fighter at the time,
and is still used today. It was the worlds first supersonic
trainer, and was even used to train some astronauts.
