Imagine Children's Museum is an expansive and well-maintained exploration and play area for children from below 3 to the early teens. The museum is on three levels, with the top level being a large weather-permitting playground, dinosaur dig, and music toys, and the basement level being construction and art studios, and party rooms. The main level has an immense variety of different areas for children to play in: there's a water area, a firehouse, an airplane, two play-in-the-dark areas, model trains, a bus for them to drive, a theater, a wildlife clinic, a treehouse, a play-restaurant, and a building-toy area. There are also multi-purpose areas, and a medium-sized gift shop.
Admission costs:
Children (12 mo. and under) FREE
General Admission $7.50
Thursday 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. $3.75
Buck for a Buddy $1.00 (Donations go towards an admission fund for those in need.)
My kids adore this place, and we drive more than half an hour to get here, because there are enough different things that they don't finish the museum on each trip.
