Jack's Hill truck stop is well known along the A5 near Towcester. There is a lot of parking for lorries at the rear and cars use the forecourt where the fuel pumps used to be. There are often large gatherings of motorcyclists on summer Sunday afternoons, these attract 2-wheelers from all over the Midlands, sometimes so many that they spill out onto both sides of the A5 for some distance up and down the road. The machinery on display is a wonder to behold.
The weathervane shows some really fancy scroll work in the arms and piercing in the vane itself.
