The Gitchi Gami Bike Trail when completed will be an 86 mile non motorized trail running between Two Harbors and Grand Marais MN. The first segment of the trail begins in Gooseberry Falls State Park, which is 13 miles north of Two Harbors, MN. The first segment is 13.1 miles and runs from Gooseberry Falls State Park to Beaver Bay Minnesota. This segment is the longest and most scenic part of the trail. It runs from Gooseberry through Split Rock Lighthouse and State Park and ends in Beaver Bay. Access points are at Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock and Beaver Bay State parks.
