Bookman's began in Tucson over 30 years ago as just a bookstore, but has expanded to a total of 6 locations in Arizona, dealing in books, music, video-games and many other types of media. One of three stores in Tucson, this one is the newest and is on the southeast corner of W Ina Rd and N Thornydale Rd.
Bookman's is a great location for buying, selling and trading video-games and, as a member of Local First Arizona, notes that more of the money spent at a locally-owned business stays in Arizona (approximately 45¢ of every dollar vs 13¢ for national chains). Bookman's also supports the local community by regularly sponsoring cultural events in the Tucson, Flagstaff and Phoenix/Mesa areas.
