This obviously at once point said Restrooms but somebody must have scratched out the bottom of the R changing the R into a P and Restrooms into Pestrooms. A damaging, but humorous piece of vandalism. I don't know if the Science Center plans on replacing this sign but it doesn't look like it will happen any time soon.
These restrooms are located nearby the Boeing IMAX theater. They typically are used by people about to watch a movie.
UPDATE: ALas they have pasted a new R over the rubbed out R. You can still kind of see where it was, but this is no more. You can still visit the location but this is now here for legacy purposes only.
