There are 8 sites tat hold 8 people each. Primitive campground provides a fire ring and portapotties. Sites are first come first served (when full they refer you to the backcountry) and free, but you must check in at the visitor center.
RVs are allowed (in parking lot), but space is limited.

This primitive campground has porta-johns, fire rings with grills, and picnic tables. There are 7 sites. Each site is limited to 8 campers. Please obtain a free camping permit and a list of regulations at the Harry Hampton Visitor Center prior to camping.
